Heather, ‘HG’, has spent her career at the intersection of innovative technology and finance. She spent over four year at JP Morgan working with both public and private tech companies across the Bay Area and the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining the Flying Fish team, she supported the launch of JP Morgan’s Early Stage Tech Banking team in Seattle focused on supporting startups from ideation through IPO across a wide range of transactions and capital deployments. HG was also part of broader deep tech coverage teams focused on AI/ML, space tech, and robotics companies during her time there. Prior to JP Morgan, HG held roles at both ON Semiconductor and Tesla. She also spent time working on the opensource Hyperloop project for universities, where she co-led the business team, leading operations and fundraising.
Outside of work, HG enjoys hiking with her two dogs and working towards her private pilot’s license. She is also a co-founder and board member of Northwest Venture Network (NVN), an initiative focused on bringing together junior partners, principals and associates in VC across the Pacific Northwest that provides mentorship and resources to the local startup ecosystem.
HG holds a B.S. from W.P. Carey School of Business with a focus in Consumer Behavior.
